The Certified Professional Game Master II provides role-playing games and can provide RPG training for entry-level Game Mastering trainees wishing to learn similar skills.

Run tabletop role-playing (RPG), live-action role-playing (LARP), or computer-based role-playing games at various locations for clients, also periodically train experienced players as entry-level Game Masters.

Separate certification for each RPG formats: tabletop, LARP, computer-based, etc.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Run RPG sessions

  • Typically 3-6 players per session for tabletop, many more for LARP and computer-based

  • Sessions typically 3-5 each.
  • Prepare adventures in accordance with RPG Therapeutics rules and guidelines, including GM Code of Conduct.

  • Customize program plans to meet defined goals.

  • Complete and regularly update assessment forms.

  • Prepare character sheets for participants to use.

  • Run campaign adventures spanning one-shots to several weeks or months, typically once per week , or every other week, per client group.

  • Insure participant compliance with Player Code of Conduct.

  • Regularly report to RPG staff.

  • Certified GM I
