The Certified RPG Facilitator I helps organize, manage, and facilitate events using role-playing games, drum circles (in the context of RPGs), and other recreational and music activities at various locations (in the context of RPGs), conventions, and other events.

Help organize, manage, and facilitate using role-playing games, and other activities at various locations, conventions, and other events.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Coordinate participant placement in rooms or at tables.
  • Set up and tear-down of activity components (drums, dice, pencils, miniatures, tables, chairs, rulebooks, computer-systems, etc.)
  • Report back to Senior Facilitator with regular planning progress reports.
  • Assist Game Masters and other Facilitators as needed, to optimize participants experience.
  • Coordinate with Player Archetypes, RPG Advocates, and others.

* Formats include: tabletop (RPG), live-action (LARP), computer-based (CRPG), and solo adventure books and modules (SABM).

Facilitator will frequently work at:

  • Conventions
  • Libraries
  • Community centers
  • Educational institutions
  • Care facilities
  • Summer/Day camps
  • Mobile Facility, the Wheelchair Friendly RPG Trailer at various locations
