Certified TR RPG Program Plan Designer & Writer I
The Certified Therapeutic Recreation (TR) Role-Playing Game Program Plan Designer I, develops, documents, and updates TR-based RPG program plan documents.
The Certified TR RPG Program Plan Designer & Writer I will work with staff (and optionally clients) to create documentation for RPG modality program plans following Therapeutic Recreation methodologies and processes.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities
- Update RPG documentation compliant with TR processes, methodologies, and policies.
- Regular use of complete TR program plan creation process in the context of RPG modalities.
- Therapeutic Recreation professional standards oversight compliance in the context of RPG modalities
- Assist Game Masters and other specialists in preparing adventures and activities in accordance with rules and guidelines, including GM Code of Conduct.
- Customize program plans to meet client's assessed needs.
- Oversee integration of assessment forms with program documentation.
- Oversee character sheet design in relation to program plan goals, especially any adaptive considerations.
Prerequisites:
- Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist (CTRS).
- Bachelor's Degree
- Minimum 2+ years Therapeutic Recreation / Recreational Therapy professional field experience.
- Extensive TR program plan writing experience complying with CTRS related professional standards.
- Certified RPG Advocate I, Certified RPG Facilitator I, Certified RPG Writer I, or Certified Game Master I.
